Phillies put up a bit more of a fight then I was expecting but ultimately no surprises from this World Series.

Philadelphia just didn't have the bullpen depth to hang with Houston in a 7 game series.

The Astro's were clearly the best team in MLB at the end of the regular season and into the playoffs when it really counted ... that pitching staff is genuinely impressive.

Philly's 1 & 2 starters (Wheeler and Nola) matched up well with Houston's (Verlander and Valdez) but after that forget about it, and aside from David Robertson the bullpen matchup was no contest.

Having said that the Phillies put up a lot better fight then the Bronx Bummers!

;)

well, years ago the Mariners broke the record for most wins in a season yet they lost their 1st round of playoffs.

Also Mattress Mac taking $10M of his $30M win for betting on Astros in cash:
