Game Freezing!!

Hillo everybody,...

All my games are freezing,...what could be the trouble?!
I have a
Gigabyte 7VRX-P with a athlonXP 2100+ 512mb
Audigy sound card and ATI AIW 8500dv video card
with Windows 2k sp3

Have you tried a space heater and some hot chocolate? 😛

Now that that's out of the way I'm going to have to say drivers.
Do you have the latest Via 4 in 1 drivers?
How about the latest video drivers?
It could also be a sound card issue which will require you to change PCI slots. Your motherboard manual should tell you which slots share IRQs.
 
The usual suspects.

Did you install:

* VIA AllInOne drivers?
* Video card drivers?
* DirectX 8.1 or better?

in that order?

If not, you probably have found your culprit.
