Game Controller problem

I'm trying to use a PS2 Dance Dance revolution mat with my PC, i have a PS2->USB controller switch so i should be able to do it. The problem is, it doesn't recognize two different directions at the same time. A lot of the steps in DDR are left and right at the same time, so i need to be able to do that. I figure if i can get the arrows from the mat to register as buttons instead, it'll work fine since two buttons at the same time (rather than arrows) can both be detected. Any idea how i would go about doing that? Maybe this belongs in the highly technical forum? 😛

I think you need a different ps2->usb adapter.

Or look for ones that say they'll work with ddr mats.

I find it hard to believe that it's impossible to do with the my current pad an USB adapter, though if i don't find an answer, which i wont =p, i'll just buy a new one.

Thanks for the link, i think i'll buy one of those, i tried to avoid Liksang before because their prices don't seem all that great and there is shipping fees, but looks to be the best route.
