Game Boy Color - $35 @ Walmart B&M

Just got back from Walmart and they had a table full of these in Atomic Purple. Not even in the electronics section, just opposite the registers on the edge of the clothing section...

Certainly not cutting edge but not a half bad stocking stuffer, or pacifier for your not-so-small babies during the car rides... 🙂

the old game boy advances go for about the same price, might wanna go for that instead...they dont even sell gbc games anymore...

Not bad, esp if you want to play original (mono) gameboy carts, and your original gb died (like mine!)

I doubt you'll find a brand new boxed GBA that would be suitable for giftgiving for $35. Used on eBay perhaps, but not new--though I'm sure the DS will make this more of a possibility soon enough...

wallmart was selling them for 39 on bf. soo 35 is a believable price in the near future.

While on the subject of GBA, I have a set of two ( 1 pink and 1 purple) with carrying cases for each as well as some games, lights, rechargeable battery system and more.
On a scale of 1 - 10, I would rated them about a 9.5.

I just got my kids a Gamecube and since they rarely ever used these, I hate to see them collecting dust.

You can get a cable ($10) to use the GBAs as GC controllers. I think the screen displays extra info.
