alive. You aren't allowed to play
hahaha i am cause the host is bettween 2 people
the priest is the all knowing person of the game 😛P
the dracula is not
and i will be dracula
cause i am fed up lynched in the first vote 😛PPPPPPPP
so in this game is my turn to drink your blood 😛PPPPPPPPP
my revenge

In epicmafia(the website I play the mafia game) the priest just has people visit him at night and they out their sins or something.

well read the rules
it is a diferent game
priest knows everyone
priest is the last man in the good side
priest can cancel a lunch
so it is a good power role i think

what is to keep the priest from announcing all the roles at the beginning of the game?

Presumably the danger would be that would also tell dracula every player's role and allow him to take over the other power roles first.

However, alive is both Dracula and the game master, so he is going to know all players roles anyway, right? I'm not really sure how the game is won based on what I read- it seems like every night Dracula gets an extra slave, while the town has to get lucky enough to pick the slave to lynch each day. With perfect lynch picks, the town will still always have one slave every night, but if the town misses one or two lynches it loses?

nope i will only know the priest role
which i can not convert anyway
the priest will give the roles to the rest at random
this game split the roles betwwen 2 people
so they can actaully play the game
the priset knows ewveryone
you are free to tell any role
but then as you said you will drive heat to some power roles for the dracula to hit
a simple concept is to trap dracula trying to vonvert a person that will be guard thus not converting at a night
the convert people offer only the lynch vote for the draculla
thus need to have many to make a lynch
and there is always the priest to stop the lunch
so it wont be easy for the team bad to win
but also team good if make mistakes then will give bad team a chance
dracula of course can not vote for a lunch

How is alive going to select who he converts?
dracula convert random i do not know the roles
the game will begin after the first night
thus dracula has one person convert
so dracula knows what people talk to each other
i can not vote to lunch
later on in the game if bad team has many people it will try to vote for a lynch
mayor can use his extra power to make a lynch happen
priest can act above the mayor and cancel the lynch
lol and the priest will be always good

i was interpreting this:
Priest and Dracula role is know to everyone from the beginning.

to mean dracula already would know the roles. so yes, more wtf'edness. dracula would know exactly what power roles to target

changed my mind, going to sit out bc i dont understand how this version plays very well. if its a success i may play in the next one if it looks fun.

The host can be either the dracula or the priest.
He chooses one role and then choose a person for the other role.
The priest will give the roles by pm to the rest of the people.
Dracula will give a number to each person by pm.
Before the night face the policeman will msg priest which person will guard.
The priest will msg the persons that will be guarded.
In the begining of the night face dracula will open a chat room and give the link.
Dracula will tell only the number of the person that will try to convert.
People that are not guarded must visit the chat. Policeman if not guarded mutually are not consider guarded.
Visit the chat and say hi.
So both the dracula and the person will know if the convertion is made.

more clear now??
dracula knows nothing
dracula will not know the roles.
priest will give the roles which will be in good team and can not be covnerted.
the game is focused that even the host can play so it will not be boring to host a game and be outside.

yes your recent posts have made it much clearer. ill still sit out 🙂

Can't we just burn Dracula to keep him from coming back? Also, if we wear garlic around our necks are we immune to being converted?

To win, we need to lynch Dracula's last slave.

(Dracula hides every day in the house of one of his slaves.
Dracula is defeated if the town kills all of his slaves.
Dracula acts every night and converts one single person as his slave.)

Day 1- no slaves. No reason to lynch, so no lynch.

Night 1- Dracula makes a slave.

Day 2- Dracula has 1 slave. If we get lucky and lynch him, we win! yay! If we don't...

Night 2, Dracula makes slaves #2.

Day 3- Dracula has 2 slaves. BEST CASE SCENARIO: we lynch a slave, but he has another.

Night 3- Dracula creates a new slave.

Day 4- repeat of day 3 etc.

It seems like either the village wins on day 2 or can't win at all, because team evil will make an new slave every day to replace the one we lynch.

The only chance to win is if the village lynches the slave every single night AND the policeman gets lucky and protects the following night's slave target on one night?

The problem then is that if there are 2 police who can protect each other, the priest might as well announce who they are and they will simply protect each other through the entire game [Policeman can not protect himself. Group 2 policeman for mutual protection.], while the village lynches every other villager, until at the end it's 2 cops + priest and dracula can't make any more slaves.

I guess there is a scenario where the village will win, but even worse, it will win every single time by following this strategy, as far as I can tell. The priest can protect the cops from lynches and the cops and priest will be protected from turning into slaves through the entire game. Unless there is some further details, the game will always end in the villagers winning, or a stalemate, given this strategy.

LOL! That won't be any fun though.

I'm getting the feeling that this isn't ready for prime time and alive should work on his game in this thread...

maybe if the village has two kill-roles and one protect role while Dracula has a recruit and a kill?
