Huh, I'd bet $1000 we're fucked either way even if we elected a third party. Much as I like Gary Johnson, we're in a serious bind and there's no easy way out. Stimulus isn't going to work. Tax cuts aren't going to work.

Think of it like pulling a tooth, it may hurt like all hell when you go to pull it out, but then it heals and hurts less and less. Much better than leaving it to get infected...

We are fucked because of the way we've spent money the past half a century. So we can either pull the tooth, hurt some feelings, get it over with and begin to heal; or we can let it get infected and take the entire mouth down with us.
