Hi. My Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" died two days ago, out of nowhere. It had 1/2 battery charged and it was charging at the time, it just flickered and died.
I've Googled for a solution and have tried everything I found, including removing the battery, using compressed air to clean the inside, put battery back, but no luck. I have tried trickle-charging the device, that didn't work, I've held the power button and the up volume, power button with the down volume button, again no luck.
My next step is to buy a replacement battery, but I don't want to do that if the tablet is toast.
Does anyone know if this sounds like a screen problem, power problem, CPU problem, or something else? Is it a very thin doorstop now?
If it is garbage, then what do you suggest for a new tablet? I prefer Android.
Thanks!
