Galaxy S7 render

ETA Until real model looks nothing like it and MASS disappointment.

This makes no sense. The renders are extremely close to the Note 5 design with some actual negative surprises if true (same bottom speaker holes, microUSB, camera hump). These renders, if true, point to an Apple like 'S' external refresh.

I gave up on Samsung with the launch of the s6 and note 5. Took away too many options.

I didn't give up on Samsung but I certainly decided to keep my Note 4 for another year, losing the removable battery & MicroSD without gaining a 4000+mAh battery and 128GB storage was a non starter for me.

If the Note 6/S7+ don't meet the standard though I will ditch Samsung for Sony.

And I may be the only one who uses it, but I love the IR blaster on the Note4 and use it all the time.

I'm skeptical of 3D renders, especially when they're hard to verify. Give me real photos before I believe that's the S7!

Gah screen is getting too big! I'm afraid there will be no high end 5" offerings next year 🙁

I second this. There is a massive difference for the male with an average size hand going from a 4.9" device to a 5.1". I'm tired of all the people claiming this is nothing. This change for me completely changes the ability to use the phone easily with one hand. Going bigger causes me to have to stretch my thumb which in turn causes the heel of my hand to touch the screen and cause an unwanted touchscreen input.

In addition, it's not just about screen size. Today's phones are getting larger even at the same screen size. Case in point:

Nexus 5 (PERFECT size IMO)
5.0" screen
Vertical Height: 137mm

Samsung Galaxy S6 (now too big)
5.1" screen
Vertical Height: 143mm

While screen size only increases .1" and thats on the diagonal, vertical height increases .24"

Same boat here. I'm happy with my note 4 but unless samsung does something amazing in 2016 I think I'll change companies.

Do we really need an S7? Didn't the S6 launch last month?

And they wonder why the market is over saturated.

Those complaining about using one hand and woe is you wah wah wah.... No one uses one hand so shaddap. I see little females with iPhone 6s+. Man up and use two hands like a man.

I need an empty hand so i can punch people like you in the face.

Ever been holding a bag (or bus/subway pole) in one hand while you're trying to use your phone in the other? Yeah, that's when a mid-size phone comes in handy.

No. Comes a time to actually interact with *reality*. Put the damn phone away.

On topic: if the actual S7 looks like that it.will be like a time warp back to 2012 or so. All that backwardassness and no SD or removable battery to boot? It'd be like they aren't even trying anymore.

I use one hand with my note 4. Not sure why this came up just saw it.

Haven't had any problems using a Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, iPhone 6 Plus, or a Nexus 6P with one hand. It's even easier with Samsung phones because they put the back button on the right side, closer to your thumb. Once you adjust to a larger screen you can definitely use it with one hand.

The guy complaining about the Nexus 5 being perfect but the S6 being unusable needs to stop exaggerating:

So what if the phone is slightly taller, there's nothing on the top of the phone to even reach for.
