Galaxy S5 photos. Not expecting miracles, but...

So I recently upgraded from a Galaxy S3 (new on launch day) to an S5 (certified used). Everything about it is amazingly better and much improved, except the camera. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to take pictures even remotely as good as my S3. Is it just because the sensor is that much smaller? Anyone else with an S5 care to share their photo settings so I can test them out?

I just did a quick google on the S5 camera, and it appears to be a larger sensor ( but more pixels ) than the S3 -- on the whole, it should be a good thing.

Make sure the image stabilization is on.

lollipop update removes picture stabilization option. It might be tied to auto night detection now.

to better understand your specific problem, it would help if you could take a picture and host it on some website (imgur/flickr/photobucket/etc) and post it here.

If you still have some pictures from the s3, post an example as well.
