Galaxy S3 Question

Apologies if this has been discussed. But my Verizon Galaxy S3 updated to 4.4.2 a few days ago. Now I am getting non stop notifications from picasa and samsung. I don't want picasa to have access to my pictures. Every time I decline, the notifications come up about 5 minutes later. Same thing with samsung. I don't use their apps, and don't want to accept their terms.

Is the only way around this to put a rom on my phone, or will I still get these messages from Picasa and/or samsung?

When you said Picasa did you mean Google Photos? I don't think Android has ever used the word 'Picasa', at least not lately.

Go to the Google+ app and you can turn off auto-upload from there. No, it is not turned on by default so you must have accidentally turned it on, but it is easy to turn back off.

I don't know what the Samsung notification is about. What does it say?

Here is a screenshot of what pops up for both my accounts. I will post the samsung screenshot when the notification pops up.

Interesting. That's definitely a Samsung thing then, because it links the default Gallery app with 'Picasa' without going through Google+. I've never seen that on my HTC phone.

There has to be a setting somewhere to turn it off. Maybe in the Gallery itself there is an option to disable this?

It is not an option in my google settings. And I do not know how to turn all the samsung stuff off.
