I have the international quad core version. Got it from Expansys.

It's working a lot better than SGS2, and I think TouchWiz has improved quite a bit (though I still ended up using Nova Launcher), it's generally quite smooth, but there still redraw of the home screen at times when you stay in an app for too long.

Software features such as the motions such as landscape rotate to camera and pop-out videos I find to be really useful, especially when multitasking. The Stay Smart feature is also quite nice, and works very well so far.

The pentile screen that everyone is making a fuss about isn't that big of a deal, unless I keep the phone about 1-2 inch away from my face, only then I can tell. Although One X screen is a bit clearer, I don't see a huge difference. SGS3 screen for me, actually produces a whiter white than my SGS2 screen, which had a more blueish-white.

The battery life in general lasts me throughout the day, with general usage, I get around 23-30% left when I get back home and plugged in at 10pm (start the day around 8am). Everything is stock, no ROM yet, but rooted.

Battery life better than your SGS2 with similar usage?

Alot better than with the stock 1600 mah battery. Slightly better than with the 2000mah extended.

Thing is neither of my sgs2 nor sgs3 is with Lte radios. So keep that in mind, all US models have LTE I believe.

I'm in the UK and we still dont have LTE here anyway. :(

Mind you youre not really helping, I'm trying to find reasons not to buy this as I'm pretty happy with my S2.

That's gonna be quite a disappointment to the OP.

Troll harder. You will notice that I also posted about an iPhone bursting into flames.

I guess anybody that doesn't have irrational hate towards Apple is some kind of fanboy in your mind.

No, someone that defends a company even when they don't deserve it is a fanboy.. and you're it.

Warning for mild personal attack
Calling someone a fanboy is an insult, and it's a way of labelling someone such that whatever they say doesn't matter. See this ad hominem entry. A lot of people do it here at MD&G, but the other moderators and I have been discussing and we are going to start enforcing this rule more actively in an attempt to bring more civility to MD&G. Please refrain from labelling other users as fanboys or any other label else that infers they are fanatical about their brand.
