Galaxy Nexus on Resurrection

I was watching a new TV show on ABC yesterday called Resurrection and I saw something really familiar. My old Galaxy Nexus phone seemed to get quite a bit of screen on as the phone for the ICE agent. He even lets the lost kid play Donkey Kong on his Galaxy Nexus.

I don't see very many Android phones, usually it's the iPhone you know. And if there is a an Android it seems like it's a newer Samsung phone. I thought it was pretty cool to see a two year old Nexus phone show up on a new TV show.

Loved the curve of the GNex in hand. Didn't love the battery, of course, or the excess weight of the LTE version, but holding that thing was nice.

It's odd in TV shows you'll see actors using an iPhone but it has Android notification sounds, or vice versa, or completely made up sounds for actions that normally don't make sounds. I wonder why they don't just use the phone's real sounds, it's not like smartphones are uncommon anymore...

I like still seeing the home screen, or the screen on when they are talking on it.

Sony phones made themselves known on Community recently.

Smartphones are generally not handled well on TV shows. Unless the show is Sherlock.

heh I watched the episode and didn't even realize it was a GNex. Probably because I've had it in a case since day 1 and don't know what it really looks like. Take it out because of the battery once in a blue moon but it looks similar to most black phones.
