I checked out the demo recently and definetly am thinking about buying it. The gameplay reminds me of the Rome: Total War campaign, which I enjoyed highly... except it's in space!

Glad I came back to this thread. It convinced me to buy this over Rise of Legends.

I am still having fun with this game. It is a lot of fun designing your own ships and using them to crush the opposition!

Found the game to be boring. Like CIV 4 a lot better

The campaign wasn't doing it for learning how to play, so I set up a 16x16 galaxy with the maximum number of opponents instead. Learned a lot quicker, but still haven't finished that single game yet, lol.

tried the demo, couldn't figure out what the hell i was suppsoed to do.

I've been debating whether or not to buy this game direct from Stardock. I loved Civ4, 3, 2 and SMAC.

Downside is, that I don't really have 45 dollars to drop on a game right now, so I may have to wait a few weeks.
