Gainward or Leadtek GF4 Ti4400?

I went with the Gainward because of all of its other features. The Gainward is also garaunteed to overclock to a certain spec. The heatsink on the Gainward is also above average like the Leadtek.

<<Edit>> By the way, I don't have mine yet to give you a hands on opinion of it. I ordered on saturday.

If I had a choice, I would go with the Gainward as well. It looks like a cool card with alot of features. Plus it will be a good overclocker according to other Gainward cards(even the ti4600 is a good overclocker).

gainward has standard heatsink fan, it's the leadtek that has super awesome heatsink fan, two in fact! But i hear it's the luck of draw. The Gainward does inlcude a DVI adapter though. But leadtek comes with two games gunlock and something else, don't know. Gainward comes with serious sam which i hate. Also don't like red PCB, i like black 🙂 Ah decisions desisoins..........

Leadtek comes with Dronez and Gunlock for games but dont worry they both suck for games. I will say this though Dronez is pretty amazing looking graphics wise.

<< Leadtek >>

If anything, it looks pimp... 😉
I've heard it overclocks stable with the two fans, even better if you mount a third on the bottom (but that's just getting carried away)

Actually, the MSI card has VIVO as well.
So.. I'd go with MSI or Gainward if you like the VIVO.
Or maybe PNY if you want the 3d glasses. I did hear about a lot of people being disappointed with the PNY cards though.
Besides that, all I can think of is that some of them come with DVI-VGA adapters and some don't, and they all have different bundled software.

Good news with my Leadtek 4400 - it does 300/650 easily. Haven't tried higher. The hsf is noticeably warmer than at stock but I can keep my fingers on it all day without a problem. The twin fans aren't quiet but they're really not noisy either and you could always remove one and just shift it to the center...I might do that in fact.

the MSI GF4 4400 also comes with VIVO and it's only 260$ (newegg)..

And I got mine to TI4600 speeds no probs 🙂 - 300/650 respectively.

I would say the Leadtek because I think(?) it's a tad cheaper. Or the Gainward because it's red. 🙂 I think they overclock about the same and for me they both come with features/games I have no use for. I'm guessing you'll be happy either way so just buy one! I'll be waiting till the fall since my Gainward Geforce3 Ti 200 is a beast, he don't need no replacement 😀

MSI/PNY has vivo? Oh well i just sold mine it's crap. It won't work on my nForce board, but works on all my other boards. And it can't o/c that well too. I don't really need VIVO.

Go with Gainward....because they're l33t as h3ll =P....great for overclocking, and I think Leadtek had some problems with their older Geforce cards....

The only problem Leadtek had was with their original GeForce SDR. It tended to overheat, sparking their subsequent obsession with needlessly huge heatsinks.

i'm getting the leadteks. Though i usually like gainward, you just can't compete with that monster heatsink!!!
