From what I've read, most people can reach at least 300/530 without problems. Give it a try.

Just keep notching it up until you notice glitches/freezes, after which you should back it down again to find a sweet spot.

Best of luck :)

I've got my 128 meg Gainward Ti4200 running happily at 310/560

From 275/520 I increased the memory at 10mhz at a time, ran 3dmark benchmark, looped the demo for a while, played some games, and surfed the net -- always keeping a close eye on the screen for graphical anomolies. The following day I would increase it by another 10mhz. At 570mhz I got some tearing in Dragothic so I dialed it back to 560. I got the same tearing at 565 so it looks like 560 is my max. After determining the max on the memory, I did the same thing with the GPU. However, I have yet to determine the max on the GPU. I'm currently at 310 but I haven't tested any higher yet. I wouldn't be suprised if I hit 320-330 but at the very least I know I'm rock stable at 310.

I gotta say I'm pretty happy with an almost 30% overclock.

I have GF4-Ti4400, I can only OC to ~294/594 for best benchmark (3DMark2001SE) score. Beyond that, my bench marks starting to go down EVEN THOUGH I can easily OC it to 310/620+ without notice any glitches or freezes.

Rock,

What is your system spec? Also, did u have AA or Aniso turn on or off? That's a nice score. I get around 11,700 with all features turned off while running 3Dmark2001se on my GF4-Ti4400

I have my TI4200 clocked at 315/560 maxing out coolbits, but my 3dmark score is way down (9000) considering I am running a 1.33 T bird. I know I can get it clocked higher also! It is a chaintech GT21!
