I was thinking about purchasing a Gainward GF3 Ti200 Golden Sample but I noticed that it doesn't look like it comes with heatsinks on the ram. Is this going to affect the overclocking much? If so, should I add some heatsinks and where do I get them?

If you have this card and have OCed it, what are your speeds and is it with ramsinks?

I just got one yesterday, it has ramsinks.

OC'd so far to 220/500 with no problems. Still more to try after I finish installing all my software.

Haven't had good luck with WinXP, still working on that. Works good in Win2k, though.

Where did you get your card from? I'm interested in knowing because the online vendor that I was thinking of purchasing it from had a picture of the card without ramsinks. I'm gonna try asking the vendor but getting an answer could take days.

Usually on-line shops were replying to me after 1 or 2 days. Be sure before you buy the card, you should ask no matter what someone told here.

There are two versions, the first version that has 4.5 ns mem with no ramsinks n a red crystal orb. The 2nd had 4 ns mem with ramsinks n a silver n red orb. Even the gainward website still shows the original first version picture on their website. Just makes sure it is the second version then it will be ok.

Xtasy pretty much summed up that issue.... As far as ocing goes, I have mine (second version w/ ramsinks) oced at 240/500... I am very happy with it so far... Good luck wading through the meriad of ti200's...
