Gainward GF3 Ti200 clockspeeds

I just recieved my Gainward GF3 Ti200 Golden Sample today and just installed it. I checked the core and memory clockspeeds and they were 200/444. Aren't Ti200's supposed to be clocked at 175/200? OR is it because it's a Golden Sample that it's clocked at this speed?

What are your OCing speeds? I hear that the most common speeds for this card are approximately around the 220/500 area. Should I automatically try a setting around 215/470 and try my way up or should I go by small 5mhz increments from the stock speed of 200/444?

Thanks for your help in advance

Well, after I installed the 22.80 Detonator drivers, the clock speeds went down to 175/401. The clockspeeds of 200/444 were on when I installed the drivers that came with the video card.

Anyone know why this is?

No, but I have no problem taking it to the limit of coolbits, which is 220/500. I do have an issue with it setting the memory timings back to default, which I am currently working on. I may reload anyway, which I am sure will fix it............🙂

Gainward's "Golden Sample" Ti 200 will optionally run at 200/444 if you use their "Expert" tweak utility and/or Gainward's drivers.
It's safer to just slowly increase the clock in small increments and test at each setting.

My Gainward (Gold sample) runs stable at 240/500. Default is 175/400 IIRC.
I usually have it at 220/450 unless I'm running 3DMark or something.
