I called - here's the lowdown according to the rep I spoke with.

First of all - all orders are being cancelled - "HUGE, HUGE price mistake", they say. 🙁
All holds on credit cards are supposed to be released later today and you should get an email saying so.

Now, regarding the BBB report - the guy I spoke with said that "Compucare, Inc" is no longer their company - they were bought out. I asked the guy what the new company's name is and he said, "Ironically, I cannot tell you that."

Did he learn the meaning of irony from Alanis Morissette?

Currently I have cancelled your pending web order. As I am sure you are aware, the price of this Gainward 6800 Ultra is listed at (an incredible deal) an incorrect price. I apologize for the inconvience. We are working on fixing the pricing issue at this moment.
Well, that's being a bit presumptuous of them. How is it a great deal if nobody gets it at that price?

Too bad, that certainly was a superb price. LOL, the link is STILL active with the $399 price.

I did see on their site the V680U2D6022 (non GS) is listed at $574.99 Too steep in my opinion.

Oh well, I eagerly await the next great deal. I've been looking around and it seems that there are very few places with cards in stock. UGH. Doom 3 is sitting here on my desk staring at me. Almost tempting me into playing it with my PNY 5900. I don't want to ruin the experience with sub-supreme graphics.

Go ahead and play it. The game plays very nicely on an FX5900. I've been playing on my BFG Asylum FX5900 (oc'd to 450/850) and it is awesome at 1024x768 Medium settings.
