Gainward 4400 tv out. 4 bit color?

So I hooked my computer up to my tv last night to watch a DVD. I have only done this once before with this card but it worked perfectly. This time it XP booted in 4 bit color mode? I had no option to bump it up in settings and hardly any programs will open in this mode. I had recently installed the Nvrefresh tool and thought this might be the problem so I uninstalled that and rebooted. Same result. Had also recently installed PC anywhere so I got rid of that too. I can't think of any other software that I installed since the last time I used it so I plugged it back in to my monitor. It still booted in low color but I went to display settings and put it back to 32. I am using the 28.32 drivers but I don't think they are the problem since it worked before. I have a Geforce 2 Pro w/tv out that I will try tonight when I get home from work. Do you think the tv out on my card is screwed? Any input or similar experiences would help me immensly. Thanks

try hooking up a monitor and the tv at the same time
boot it using the monitor, then pull up the advanced control panel and set the options for your tv out and then switch over to it
hopefully you'll only have to do that once

Thanks for the input, Nemo160. I'll give that a shot tonight. Gonna be a PITA to lug my 19" in to the living room! Has anybody experienced something like this on any VIVO card? Also, do I need to uninstall - reinstall drivers to try out my Geforce 2? Thanks
