Gaindward not answering RMA issues

Hi,

I filled out an RMA three times for a videocard that failed due to a cheap fan, but no response. Also I tried several time to get to Gainward Twaiwan RMA with no success. Are they going under and will not honor warrantees anymore? Please advise.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks,

I just notified them [I think] that I am going to post a lot of negative, but correct info about them not responding to several forums.

They are screwing the USA and canada, I dont even think you can purchase gainward product in the US now, If you can make sure you stay the "F" away ause you will get screwed just like I did [probably quite a few others]

Thankfully, my Gainward 6800GT is still good. 🙂

If it goes under, its going to really suck. It'd mean either buying a new 6800GT card, or rebuilding a new system. And as much as I'd like to build a new system from the ground up, I don't have the money for that right now.

STFU. That kind of BS is not needed here, sorry. Go back to the CPU forum, or better yet, go troll Forum issues. Better even than that, hit the FS/FT forums and go on a permanent vacation.

Gainward was great, it was too bad to see them go. Premium video cards are always nice to enrich card selection and push others to innovate 🙂

Gainward was good. Not great. It never had the sort of tech support BFG/EVGA offers but the golden samples could always be counted on to go above and beyond the call of ocing. Besides, the Golden Sample cards frequently had awesome HSFs.

That's what I was getting at I guess, the GS line. With card partners pushing the envelope like that, others had to push to keep up as well.

The last nvidia card I had was a 4600 Ti all 3 of them than I bought a 9700pro .
As for my performance level now is very good at stock 3.2 GHz / X800XtPe B5 @ 2-5-2-2 Raid 0 Raptors. I am very pleased PC Mark 05 my score 6017. The best score at stock is 6023 so ya I am second right now but I well be back up front .

Don't waste your time. Get a Zalman FV700 and replace it yourself. Its very easy. I have a Gainward 6800GT and the stock fans are pathetic, both in cooling and in noise.

You're just mad because your ATI stock hasn't performed well lately.

I think he was talking about "stock", as in the stock market...ATI stock shares...going down...

Gainward was a good company, very good cards. As a matter of fact, I would like to bring up the sheer resilience of the GS line. I currently own a Gainward 6800GT Golden Sample card. After cleaning out the dust from the inside, I noticed that one of the two fans on the Gainward was not working. Because of this, the card was idling between 65C and 67C, and reaching temps close to 100C under load. That fan has been out for at least 1 month, probably two. Most other cards would have fried a long time ago, but this Gainward just keeps chugging along.

And for the record, I have an NV Silencer on the way. Just because the card has worked for the last few months does not mean I want to tempt fate some more. 😉
