$30 a month has been routinely turning into $100+ a month now that business is picking up. I'm talking 500 minutes over the normal 500 minute limit.

So obviously this isn't going to work for me, and I'm sad to see the SERO plan go.

Sooo... I'm really liking the Droid Incredible. I'm absolutely THROUGH with Windows Mobile and it's bullshit.

What plan should I get? Must have unlimited data, text, and I guess at least 1000 minutes. I want FAST data. International usage would be nice too.

But it doesn't look like I can have all this... so... Verizon 900 minutes talk and text for $80 + $30 for unlimited data and get the Incredible for $200 with two year contract? I could keep my Touch Pro 2 around since it's an international phone. Hopefully after a while Android will be successfully ported to the TP2.

You can pick up the incredible for $150 - $50 BCB @ Wirefly, or $150 straight up at Amazon. Also, if you use Google Voice, you can set it as one of your friends & family, and use that to make all your calls not use minutes.

Call Sprint and try to get them to upgrade you to the 1000 minute SERO. You have a pretty good shot at getting it.

Why not wait another month or two for the EVO? If I were to leave SERO it would take something like that. Sprint has the $100 unlimited everything plan, and from there you can save 15% by being a credit union member.

You would pay less per month than the Verizon plan, you would have unlimited minutes, you can have the Android OS. The only thing is that you would have to wait for the EVO release.

No, the $100 unlimited everything plan is the one plan that Sprint won't discount.

That said, if you're calling mostly mobile numbers, Sprint doesn't charge for any of those now, only landlines, as long as you're on one of the Everything Data plans. I have the Everything 450 plan (450 minutes to landlines, unlimited text + data) which is $69.99 - 23% discount = $59.94 after taxes each month. Almost all of my calls are to cellphones so last month I used 21 minutes out of the 450.

Yep. Plus you get to change phones once ever 12 months.

Oooooo... thanks for the tip! I just switched to it. I was told that I can't switch back, and I'm only eligible for the max discount on a phone when March 2011 comes around :(

Right now I've only got a $75 discount - which, on a $500 phone (just guessing) isn't going to be much.

Looks like I'm stuck with this goddamned TP2 with WinMo.
