Did you use a credit card or a debit card?
If you used a credit card there's no real harm done, I hope to god you didn't use a debit card...

What's the problem with using a debit or check card? My check card has the same protection as my credit card.
Sure it does, WITH ONE GLARING EXCEPTION:
Debit card = your funds are MIA until they get returned
Credit card = You can dispute the charge & not pay anything
Even honest companies can screw up. I ordered a bike from SuperGo once, they accidentally charged me twice. Only one of the holds would have posted, but if it had been debit I'd have been overdrawn by several hundred dollars with no way to get my money back right away. If rent was due, car payments, etc. you would be SCREWED.

You are getting irritated because your card got delayed by 2-3 weeks? Try dealing with Dell (especially when it comes to peripherals). You will feel like banging your head on the wall. I ordered my Sony DRU 500A in first week of october and got it in December. This was after numerous "your order is delayed until year 2020" emails.
I don't deal with Dell. I usually buy parts in-person because when I pay for something, I want it NOW. Money leaves my hands and it makes me a little uncomfortable when it's a lot of it, if I don't have my product. I ordered from a company that is full of crap, and it's my fault for not checking on them first. I fvcked up.

How are their rates, online banking, customer service, do you get free cashier's checks/MO's?

I don't know about the CC/MOs because I never get them from 1sttech. I always go down to Albertsons or something where they're a penny or some crap like that. Last time I checked, their rates were fair. I don't get loans, either, so I wouldn't know much about that. But their customer service and online banking ROCK. I can transfer to another member's account (any of them: savings, checking, etc) if we set it up, I can instantly transfer from savings to checking, etc., and you can even send checks to pay bills via 1sttech. I go online and tell them when to mail the check and where. That date, the funds come out of my account and a check is mailed off in my name to the place I send it - 100% free. And it doesn't have to be to a company, either. If I owe Gregg money or something, I can send him a check via 1sttech.
Customer Service is GREAT. They call me whenever large amounts are taken out of my account. They did it a few times and I asked them to keep calling whenever large purchases are made. They verify that I am who I say I am, then ask to verify that I made the purchase. Otherwise the bank shuts down the transaction. I love it. My own personal debit card security service. You can call and do anything with the customer service rep that you can do online at their website -and that's anything. Loans. Online banking transactions. They're great.

Sounds great.
Where abouts are they located?
Gregg should open an account there, making it easy to transfer money between each other.
