Um. A lot of the rural counties are reporting 99% and the margins and turnout dont seem to be enough there, with both ossoff and Warnock up by like 10.

Nate silver says not to read too much into since total size of election day vote and total turnout in general are up in the air but damn. This is not where I was expecting to be at this point. We'll see if it holds.

Dunno how it will end up, but it's all in the turnout. Georgia Dems are fired up, riding Biden's win. We'll see if the GOP can match them. We won't have much of a sense of it until tomorrow at the earliest.

Is it too early to say that it won't matter with the GOP Trump party....if the R's win it was a fair election. If the D's win...RIGGED!!!

or should I have said that Nov 4th?

Race has gotten a lot tighter.

TBH, the Dems know that winning both seats is a long shot.

And, only 63% of the votes are in. 😕

The Cheddar news tv channel said 2 million of the 3 million early votes are in person votes. Don't know if that was mentioned already. I was assuming most of the early voting would be mail in/absentee ballots.

Not really a long shot, with his things stand as of 9:15 eastern democrats are favorites to win both seats. Not huge favorites, but favorites.

Even though the race is now extremely tight, so far the numbers have actually been better for the Democrats. R turnout has been lower than expected and D turnout has been higher. Still a lot of votes to be counted in D-heavy counties.

US stock futures are red. So it's predicting Dem victory at the moment. The futures were down lot more when Dems had the bigger lead. As the gap narrowed, the futures erased some of the losses but are still red.

That’s kind of dumb really. Most forecasts have greater economic growth under dem control then split government.

For market players it isn’t about how well the economy is growing, it’s about how much of that growth gets siphoned to the top. When it comes to looting the economy, the Republicans are the goto party.
