Nothing like repeatedly reminding people about how voting Dems gives you $2000. I guess the people looking for $2k have no issues being indentured servants for the other half of the Dem party which happens to be the uber rich of America.

Like Perdue and Loeffler didn't both promise that they'd vote in favor of those $2000 payments if re-elected. Whatever.

The only difference is that Warnock and Ossoff will do it, while you know that Perdue and Loeffler were lying through their teeth and would have used any excuse (no matter how laughable) not to follow through.

Mitch McConnell as election night continues and the Dems votes continue to increase.

you’re welcome

Pretty incredible night for democracy. Remaining votes will hopefully make it a blue sweep. Though the lead changes have given me heartburn.

I remember right after the Presidential election many said that there was no way that blacks would come out for the Runoffs like they did for Biden. And today, wow! The Democrats came out in force. The mixed messages by Trump, Moscow Mitch and the two Republican asshat Senators screwed themselves over and that's the best. Love that Trump has been disgraced so much and the next few days should make it even better.

It was definitely a team effort. Stacey Abrams is a force. The celebrities from Georgia came out to get people to vote. Andrew Yang even moved there to drum up Asian support. And I know locally up here in MA, we had multiple phone drives going calling every Democratic voter to not only to motivate them to vote but to help fill out their absentee/mail in ballots.

Ok, ok. Looks like Warnock will win but Ossoff may have a problem considering those military ballots coming in on Friday. Some 17,000 I hear. Sure, I want both Democrats to win but it can be very frustrating being a Democrat at times. Guess it’s the curse of party. Republicans seem to slide into victories while for Democrats it’s always an up hill battle. I mean, who the F are those people that vote for Donald Trump and Loeffler? Seriously. I don’t get it.

You know... if Ossoff ends up losing and the senate remains under Republican control, Mitt Romney “could” prove his patriotism by switching party affiliation over to the Democrats. No republican likes Mitt Romney anyway and Mitt has his issues with republicans, so why resist? Mitt could do the right thing and jump ship for the sake of the union.

Cenk from YouTurks is saying both parties have won. DeKalb county is left, and from what Cenk is saying Osoff will in by 1%.

Can't wait for those MAGA tears.

It's 17K votes out of 120K still outstanding. Also, the military vote has not strongly favored the repugs this year.

Yes it looks like the stations are assuming both Democrats will win. Fox was playing around with which senate Democrats would replace republicans on various senate committees and Lawrence O’Donnell wondering about Mitch McConnell when Mitch wakes up tomorrow to a Democrat controlled senate. If Lawrence is that sure, that’s good enough for me.

I am still not confident.
Still. If.
I wanna see Mitches face when it dawns on him that he is out. All I want for Christmas is that picture.

What tf is up with all these cliffhangers?

Just illustrates how divided we are. And divided by 50/50 if you can believe that. It really does come down to every vote counts. We had a house race here where the difference was only 6 votes. It’s being contested.
