GA-P35C-DS3R Memory slot issue

Hi All,

There seems to be a problem with the 3rd and 4th memory slots on my GA-P35C-DS3R motherboard. I was attempting to evaluate my memory sticks by running Memtest 86+ and Windows Diagnostic Utility. When I place my DDR2 memory into the 1st or 2nd memory slots, these diagnostics return no errors, even after several passes. When I place the same DDR2 memory into the 3rd or 4th memory slot, these diagnostics return hundreds of errors on the first pass. Is there any way to fix this issue without returning the motherboard for repair? In particular, I was wondering if I could somehow adjust the voltage to deal with this.

2 x CORSAIR TWIN2X2048-8500C5D
eVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS 256MB GDDR3
Samsung SpinPoint HD501LJ 500GB
ASUS DRW-1814BLT (Black 18X DVD+R ?)
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit (OEM)

Note that my RAM is Corsair Dominator TWIN2X2048-8500C5D, and it works fine in the first two DDR2 memory slots.

so, you've 2 sticks in 1 and 2 and then you put 2 sticks into 3 and 4 and memtest86
says the ones in 1 and 2 are fine but 3 and 4 are faulty, if I read what you wrote correctly? I know if you put memory in the last lslots and ignore the 1st ones, that most motherboards will have serious issues, it's a safety precaution since the 1st 2 slots help set the FSB and etc.
