I'm attempting my first overclock with the K8NS ultra board and a venice 3000+. I've been playing with this for about two weeks now and I've pretty much determined that my CPU cannot quite reach 2.6GHz at max volts (~1.74) and memory (2x512 Corsair VS PC3200) cannot go beyond 210 at 2.5-3-3-8 1T at max volts (2.82). I haven't done extensive testing with looser timings but I'm sticking with 1T based on a variety of recommendations from OC guides.

My options at this point seem to be:
HTT 312x8 ~2.5GHz CPU / Mem 133 ~206MHz 2.5-3-3-8 1T :: this is Prime & MT stable
HTT 280x9 ~2.5GHz CPU / Mem 133 ~180MHz 2.5-3-3-8 1T :: this is Prime & MT stable
in both cases CPU is @ 1.6v (1.63v Everest) Mem is stock v (2.62 Everest)
Max temp for CPU while priming was 47, usually 45-46, idle 33-35, stock HSF

I was not able to tighten the timings and maintain stability with the mem underclocked. Which option seems better for long-term stability and performance? Will the higher HTT cook the Mobo? Thanks in advance for any help, I've already learned a lot from these forums.
