GA-K8NS Ultra-939 SATA boot drive problems

So I built a new computer for a buddy of mine, has a WD 10krpm raptor along with a ATA 40gb WD HD.

In the hard drive boot order, I set the raptor to boot first and the storage drive as second (I don't see a way to remove the storage drive out of the list entirely)

From what I have observed, it will revert back to a different boot order when shut down overnight. As in it changes back to storage drive first, then SATA second. I can't seem to make it stick 🙁

I've always have had a problem when using both SATA and reg ATA. In my motherboards I've used you can't set SATA to boot, and it will only boot if the motherboard has nothing else to boot off of. I would suggest in the bios telling it not to boot of anything at all, and see what happens. Other then that, take out the reg ATA
