GA-EP45-UD3P Chipset Drivers for Win7 RC1 64-Bit?

I just got the GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard (with Core2Quad 9550) and am wondering what all I need to install driver wise for Win7 RC1 64?

Everything listed here?

What about all this other stuff?

Intel® ViivTM Software Platform & Intel® Quick Resume Technology
Intel® Turbo Memory Driver
Intel® Management Engine Interface

At least the Realtek 8111 LAN driver was more straight forward.

Would it be better to install these newer chipset drivers? Version 9.1.1.1011 WHQL

(As opposed to the 9.1.0.1014s you mention?)

Oops: I guess "9.1.1.1012 WHQL" seems to be the latest version.
Also: if upgrading Intel chipset drivers, you need to run from a command prompt:
setup.exe -overall
Otherwise, you're still stuck with the older version.

Really? I just though you had to click setup.exe and it would update everything?

These drivers will be installed after a format, so they will only replace what is on my Win7 DVD.

Newer Intel chipset drivers don't do much else than supporting newer chipsets.. Check out the release note and if there is nothing significant, I wouldn't worry about installing an older version.

And I thought Windows 7 comes with drivers for ICH10R?

No: if you set the bios for "raid mode", the Windows 7 installer won't be able to "see" any
hard drive attached, unless a driver is provided. In this case: Intel Matrix Storage Driver (x64), on a floppy, USB or CD drive. This is true whether the target drive is a raid array, or (in a dual-boot situation) a single HD, where you'd not want to have to adjust the bios setting of "raid mode".
Installing on a JMicron port (configured in bios for eSATA in AHCI mode) is also definitely NOT supported natively in Windows 7.

My setup (boot order selectable in bios):
Raid 0 - Win XP-32 bit
2nd internal HD - Windows 7-64 bit
eSATA on JMicron port - Windows 7-64 bit (mostly left powered off).

That's surprising and dissapointing (@MS) considering ICH10R has been out for a long time. Hopefully it'll be natively supported by the time RTM hits.

Has ANY Microsoft operating system "natively" supported a "Raid mode" or "AHCI mode" installation on any modern Intel raid chipset:
ICH5R -> ICH10R?
None that I'm aware of.

?

I must be living in a different world.. Original Vista recognized ICH7R, and Vista w/ SP1 recognized ICH8R and ICH9R for me.. No drivers needed for either RAID or AHCI.

Wait - You probably have to disable any secondary storage controller on the board, if there is any.
