GA-EP43-UD3L POST issues

Corsair PC25300, 4 X 2GB value ram (VS4GBKIT667D2/G)
Windows XP 64bit
WD 320 GB hdd
Sony SATA DVD-RW optical

I am having issues, the system is unstable and takes forever to POST and sometimes it hangs while posting OR loading Windows. Initially the BIOS was finding two hdd's even though there is only one installed. I remedied that by loading FAILSAFE BIOS settings, rebooting and then loading OPTIMIZED BIOS settings.I get only 1 system beep. I am in the process of running MEMTEST86. But I have never had issues with Corsait value ram.

Any ideas?
