So has anybody here tried one of the new EP boards? I just went to purchase another GA-P35C-DS3R, since I have had lots of luck with my 2.0 rev one and all the store had was the EP version at rev 2.1. Anybody have good, bad, or indifferent to say about it?

Sorry, meant to put under the GA-P35c-DS3R topic!

The EP35 series is basically just revision 2.1 of the P35 series. There shouldn't be a whole lot of difference between them.

I just build a new system with this board (rev 2.1). Solid so far. Worked with the Wolfdale out of the box with F2 firmware. Runs prime stable at stock speeds for 24hrs. Only had it running 2 days but so far I am reasonably impressed. Used Corsair 2x2Gb 400mhx DDR2. Also has 2 slots for DDR3.

If you dont mind me asking Bish, did you use RAM that were specifically "compatible" with the board? Which Corsair RAM did you buy? Cause Im building a system on the board so yea, advice from users would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about RAM for that specific model, but I did have the same RAM compatibility concerns when I was building my rig. FWIW, I ended up buying a set of Corsair XMS2's that weren't explicitly stated as compatible with my EP35-DS3P but it works fine.

Thanks DarkRogue! :) Appreciate the feedback. Puts my mind at rest to some extent as getting quality RAM sticks where I live is kinda hard and expensive.
