Hi,
I have a little problem with the 8irxp Mobo.
Always when I switched off my Computer longer than an hour, it doesn't boot. But after pressing the reset-switch it boots without any
Problems! What to do????

Strange is: After i had installed the new Bios (F5), the fsb was at 66, but in the bios it was at 100!

My System:
P4 2,2Ghz A (I didn't overclocked it)
Ga-8irxp,
512 mb ddr-ram
win xp

Thx JCDenton

Hi,

on alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.gigabyte someone from gigabyte (seems to me) is questioning about these problems!

Here's the post:

According to the friendly tech support guy at Gigabyte nobody will even be doing any work there until after Chinese New Year! This is the kind of service you get from Gigabyte.

This is one of the reasons I ditched my 8IRXP and got an Asus P4B266. It's a much better board anyway.
