I'm wondering if you can boot from a serial HD...
"- IDE #1-#4, SCSI, LS120, ZIP, CD-ROM and USB bootable." (From a spec sheet on the GA-8INXP.)
Anyone know?

really? Check my first post kowan, i got it from gigabytes spec sheet on the GA-8inxp
what did sony set the standard for for floppys way back when?

SCSI is also used to refer to a RAID controller in the boot sequence, so that is probably it; that's how it is on my motherboard; you can select which one you want it to boot from in another menu (RAID or SCSI)

AFAIK Sony is the one who came up with the 3.5 inch floppy to replace the old 5.25 inch.
There was high hope for the 120MB replacement. Old floppies can also be read in the drive, but its speed was not up to speed. :D

P.S. Notice how the LS120 is listed prior to the Zip drive as bootable?
