Running with P4 1.6A at 2.1GHZ, Win98SE, 512MB Crucial DDR2100, Visiontek GF3 Ti500, 60GB Maxtor/80GB WD hard drives, Soundblaster Live, Intel PCI modem, Lite-On 16X DVD & Cendyne 32X CDRW. Nothing happens on soft boot, keyboard is fine on other systems. Any BIOS settings or suggestions would be appreciated!

Make sure you're using a good PS. This issue is not a new one, many other people have seen it. I would use the latest f8 BIOS on the Gigabyte site.

Does your system not boot at all or just not let you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart while booting? I have a usb keyboard with this MB and it would not respond to Ctrl+Alt+Del when the system would hang at boot with the 133 fsb speed due a bad DIMM I had at first until I enabled usb kb support in the bios.

I've got a Codegen 300W PS and standard keyboard, won't soft boot after Windows already up and running. I'll try the new BIOS and see what happens. Is Gigabyte support non-existant, haven't gotten ANY response from them at all. Thanx for the help!

They're in Taiwan. Give them some time. They've been posting a new BIOS for this mobo every week.
