Hey all:
I've included my sytem specs in my profile. Ever since I put this system together, I've been experienced sound issues. I'm using the built in sound chip on the board. I hear static when playing music and also when gaming. It's not very loud, but it's definately annoying. Any ideas? Oh and also, nothing's overclocked.
Thanks

Try reducing the on-speaker volume to minimum then increase the volume within windows to max. Then use the on-speaker knob to regulate the volume as desired. Also, ensure the speaker wires do not cross over other electrical devices. Also get the latest audio drivers. I believe your mobo has integrated ACL650 AC'97 audio codec. download the latest drivers form the realtek site: Here
