im pretty well set on getting one of these cards.
Which one is faster?
Which one has better 2D?
btw this is my 2000th post!🙂

Personally I wouldn't purchase any of the GF4 MX versions at all. They are really just crippled GF2's with a bit better performance in some things than the GF2.
If you are comparing the GF4 MX to the GF3 TI200, I would go for the GF3 TI200 cause they have the same features as the GF4 (directX8, Pixel shaders, etc).

Go with the GF3 Ti200, you will be glad you did when comparing to any of the MX's, but if it's the GF4 TI, I would go for the TI4200 when it comes out. It's a good price point and it should be very fast compared to anything in the GF3 or lower range.

No self-respecting hardware enthusiast should purchase a GF4 MX part...it's deplorable labelling by nVidia. There are better alternatives at the same price points (e.g. GF3 Ti series, Radeon).

I already read what Carmack had to say, however DOOM 3 afaik isnt even on the radar map.I will buy a fitting card for it when a test/demo/release date is in sight.

I wassold on the gf3 and generally thought it was a faster card, but these benches seem pretty impressive for the 440Benches

it seems to be faster than the ti200 in some things at least.
