G450 Error: "This operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected." Please help!

Ok, I have a Dell P4 1.8 with 512 MB RDRAM. I have a rather large avi I am trying to play. When monitor 1 is my primary monitor, everything works great, but if I change my primary monitor to #2 and try to play the same file it gives me this error: "This operation cannot be performed because the pins are not connected." What the heck is this?
