I looked at one and drove it. Was nice but lacked soul if you know what I mean. I thought it was a good car.

Thought about something like a new Sonata? I saw a few brand new ones at the dealer the other day and holy damn they are nice. Also incredible on gas for their size. 2.0T engine was the one I was looking at.

It looks nice but I just cant see myself driving a hyundai. I know im snobbish..

I honestly know exactly how you feel.
I still suggest you at least go look at it. I bet you're glad you at least checked it out. It is a great car for the money. Can get dual sunroofs too!

You can get the Infiniti serviced at Nissan. Unless you do everything yourself that will save a good chunk of money in the long run over both an Infiniti dealer or BMW. Nissan service keeps your Infiniti warranty intact but they won't do warrantied work.

Oil change on my G35(Dino Juice):
Infiniti - $90
Nissan - $30

Yes I realize $30 is also a rip but much less so.

On the other hand, get your Infiniti serviced at the Infiniti dealership, and you'll get a G37x as a loaner for the day.

Well I decided on the 2007G35X. I also decided to trade the wifes car in with in and let her drive it. She loved it the second she got in it. I on the other hand am still looking for something for me now lol..

I was trying to be cheap and now its not. I told her I will probably get a Porsche now....

I think AWD can be really nice to have in a lot of parts in the country, but it's almost completely useless here in NTX. I would think it's actually a slight negative for people without the need for AWD. More weight, more cost, more moving parts, lower fuel economy, slightly lower performance in good road conditions.

If you need it you need it though. Was in portland a while back, which apparently gets rain constantly on those slick hilly streets (lots of asphalt and sloped road surfaces), and I saw more AWD vehicles per capita than I've ever seen.

NTX... northern Texas? Well, obviously, you'd have no need for AWD, but Indiana does get snow, and will benefit from AWD.

Yep, Texas :) When it snows here once in a long while, everyone is either too afraid to drive or those that do typically go like 2mph lol.

I agree completely, AWD is a plus or a minus heavily dependent on area, and Indiana is one that it would definitely come in handy a lot more than a couple days every couple of years like Texas.

Ya AWD is very useful in the craptastic Indiana winters. The most dangerous thing on the road in winter isnt the snow but the dumass drivers....


I would also agree that a TL is better looking that than sonata but the overall design and styling of the Huyndai is very respectable. If I were Hyundai I would not throw good money after bad on the Hyundai brand and would have spun off both the nice SUV and the Sonata into a premium brand ala Infiniti-yes I knew how to spell it but spell check is retarded- and the Acura-Lexus brands. But I digress....

We picked up the car for the wife and its Fantastic. She immediate put in a Paula Cole CD and proceeded to make me want to kill myself...but she was happy...lol


She did when we arrived at home acknowledged that we started to buy a new dayli driver for me and it ends up being hers....again...

So I used my new-found points and spent them on permission to get a Porsche!!!
