Any Impreza-based car (WRX, STi, etc) will have noticeably higher insurance rates thanks to the teen ricers wrecking them everywhere

i'm not sure how insurance ppl look at it. a legacy is not a impreza based car. aleast i dont think it is. legacy/accord and impreza/ civic but thats in my eye.

rates can be higher because of the AWD repairs and etc.

yea i've read about the LGT i think its 45/55 at most. it might just be due to the fact that it has a rear limited-slip and a open front. What do you drive DEMO?

perhaps not at most, changes depending on conditions.

I drive a wrx wagon. Previously drove a 95 legacy, so Subaru's have treated me well over the years. And I suspect I will get another one if they bring the diesel over here.

also legacy is not an impreza based car. The new impreza however uses a modified version of it's basic structure though. Insurance rates shouldn't be too bad, it's kind of a 'low key' car.

i honestly want to place like ford 500 emblems on it or like camry badges to confuse the crap out of people. its the ricer in me.

i gotta go to my agent this weekend to talk about mortage payments so i'll throw that in there as well. trying to increase my discount. =P

Legacy insurance rates are much lower than Impreza. I should have mentioned, I priced a bunch out about the same time a year and a half ago: Impreza, WRX, Legacy, Legacy GT, GTO, and some others. The Impreza & WRX were much higher than any others I'd priced.

spec-b demand a little more $$$ i rarely see used spec B's on lots. and if they are they demand 20k+

i kinda have a strict budget of 20k on the car. actually the way it looks and the way i'm crunching numbers. after crunching numbers, it looks more like my budget is 17.5k
