G2400WD - $290 + FS (OOS now)

They're not bad even though they're TN's. From what I've read between AT and hardforum's display subforums they're pretty good for their price and fairly accurate out of the box. I couldn't find one in person, but it's supposed to be slightly better than the 245BW, which I thought was pretty solid out of the box too.

However, I can't really tell you much beyond that as I got it for my gf. So I didn't put it side by side against my 2007WFP.

"BenQ G2400WD, 24". TN display that outclasses the 245BW in every aspect, at least according to initial reports. Very good value for anyone who wants a cheap 24" gaming or general use/other panel. The default color accuracy is even good, so although photo editing certainly isn't the best use of a TN panel, it may not be out of the question with this LCD. $379.99 at Newegg."

just placed an order. was about to order one last week, thankful that i waited. i hear it is perfect for ps3/xbox360 gaming with it's 1:1 pixel mapping.

I have been looking very hard at this monitor for the past month. Almost pulled the trigger several times. Absolutely cannot pass up the $80 instant savings. Gotta love deals without those stupid MIR.

Might wanna update the title. It is indeed 290.00 after the promotion code. And another $20.34 off with live cashback. Even if the live cashback doesn't come through I would consider this an amazing buy, it's just a major bonus.

It's actually down to 370 before promo code now which means it will be $290 after.

Experience from a friend's monitor tells me that the HDMI input makes blacks look gray. Beware of that fact. Colors also tend to look washed out for the most part.

Great post! Thanks for backing up your opinion with.....nothing.

I'll try this monitor and actually have some sort of informed opinion soon. In for 1.

I've read entire threads praising this monitor as the best TN for the dollar especially for gaming and in terms of color reproduction.

I own this monitor, and it is not worth owning.

I wouldn't have taken it for free.
