Does anyone know of a good web site for G1 users, with reviews of apps and news etc?

Check http://www.androidfanatic.com/ or http://androidcommunity.com/. A search for a G1 community might not turn up much, but a search for Android should probably give you a decent number of hits.

Don't know if it's any good.
But, Android Central is a sister site to Crackberry, PalmCentral, etc.
Worth checking out at least.

BUMP!!

I just got it this morning and am having trouble finding actual applications to install. I am having difficulty viewing web pages. I clicked the box which tells the browser to automatically make web pages fit the screen, but it doesnt often work.
I tried finding the Chrome for mobile browser but all the links dont work.

Are there any apps that let me view a catalog of other apps? Searching for apps on web pages is a pain on this thing.

Nevermind, I figured out the problem. They forgot to wipe the phone after one of the employees played with it. He left his login on and I couldnt access the Market program. Now I'm getting all kinds of cool stuff.

Though websites with working links are still helpful.

Not sure if Opera is available for android, but that's what I used on my BB and it worked pretty well.
