In another thread 'ribbon13' suggested I check out G.Skill's 1GB kit (512 x 2) of PC3200 ram. Someone else in the thread agreed, stating something to the effect of "anything with Samsung TCCD's is good stuff" (paraphrasing).
Upon looking at those G.skill sticks, and comparing to other g.skill sticks, I don't think they are TCCD's. If you look at the picture of them on newegg they just have a G.Skill graphic on them, no Samsung label. However, other g.skill sticks advertised as "Samsung TCCD" on the newegg title, do have the Samsung chips, and cost a LOT more (granted they're rated a lot higher, too.)
Not that it really matters, the reviews of the $100 1GB kit are good, but just curious... anyone know if these are really TCCD or not?
