G.skill 2x1gb memory for $145 no rebates!

not worth it, theye had the g.skill 2gb(1gbx2) kit DDr 500 PC4000 memory 144 AR the other day retail value at 200 but for 144. you cant beat that price.

It is a pretty good price. I dont like any value memory personaly. Id probably get this instead of that. Depending how much you paid for that memory of course.

This newegg price is pretty good, as long as you dont live in Cali like I do and have to pay taxes. 😛

You can actually find PC4000 2gb kits for almost the same price so, while its a decent deal, there is better stuff out there for a little more money.

Another bump, as I just ordered mine. If you've been looking to upgrade to 2GB, but don't want to give up your quick timings, get in while you can! This stuff is priced only a little bit above a lot of value RAM 2GB kits that are out there, for reference... Thanks OP 🙂

How's this stuff? Corsair XMS I know it's a rebate, but the price looks pretty good for CAS2 memory.

The price is pretty good, and so is the RAM (You can't really go wrong with Corsair), but with some MoBo's Corsair has OC'ing limitations/problems, and their rebate department sucks... In the case that you have any problems with it though, they're really easy to deal with in terms of troubleshooting and/or getting RMA's; I don't know about G.Skill in terms of warranty service.
