G+ photo uploads go full-res

No comment on this? It was in an unheralded app update the other day, but really upgrades the usefulness of this feature.

At this point it's pretty much idiot-proof.

???? you're talking about something from last year ????

You get unlimited at 2048x2048 but the NEW system allows FULL resolution uploads (whatever resolution your camera shoots at), which is what the OP is talking about. You're limited to 5GB for full res pics.

2048x2048 is plenty big for me. Hell even if it was a 1200x1200 limit I would've been ok. That's plenty big for most monitors.
