Could you provide evidence that "our existing system for validating eligible voters in state or federal elections is less than reliable". Thanks.
most in the database linked below are minor however the irregularities exist. I won't go into the 2000 or 2020 elections. It just stirs incoherency on both sides.
We can all agree on the Chicago machine. Proving such though in the case of a Chicago or similar is very difficult since the perpetrators are usually also in control of any audit reporting.

Akin to a very smart embezzeler who can escape detection for years.

Again, I don't fully disagree with your position. I do not think we can ensure integrity in the crossover from purely local to State/Federal.

You should try living in reality.

When can we expect a correction of your post and an acknowledgement of you being wrong?

Can you explain to me what "catch and release" is?

I'll give you a clue:

Its the disastrous liberal policy of arresting 1.7 million people this year and then releasing the vast majority into the interior of the country to mill about doing who knows what with a piece of paper asking them politely to appear in court several years from now.

Such a joke.

"The border is closed!"

Kind of like all the Republican voter fraud investigations with Republican judges dismissing the cases for lack of evidence any fraud existed?

Lol way to double down on stupid!! For one YOU apparently don’t know what “catch and release” means. I’ll clue your dumb ass in; it refers to detaining and releasing to the interior those who are seeking asylum or are low risk such as children.

What your dumb ass failed to read, despite the information being handed to you was:

On the other side of the aisle, Democrats and immigration advocates have slammed Biden for his swift expulsions of many of those migrants back to Haiti, a country that has been devastated by violence, political crises and natural disasters.

Many of the Haitians were returned under one sweeping Trump policy that Biden has kept in place. Known as Title 42, it was implemented in March 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in an effort to curb infections and allows most migrants to be quickly expelled without a chance to seek asylum.

A federal court has also ordered the Biden administration to reinstate another Trump-era policy known as the Migrant Protection Protocols, which forced thousands of asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for U.S. immigration court hearings. The administration said it is taking steps to restart the program in November, pending agreement from Mexico.

I dare you to triple down on your stupidity.

People who pay taxes voting in local elections is not the problem.

Right wing assholes trying to overthrow elections is the problem. You want to pretend like you believe in the sanctity of voting? Take your insurrection and treason and pound it up your ignorant racist asses, then we can talk about 'respecting the vote.'

GQP is hellbent on removing the ability for non-republican citizens to have their votes counted, have actively engaged in and supported violent insurrection. The opinion of treasonous hypocrites can be discarded like the trash it is.
Trying to overthrow elections you say?
Trump-Russia collusion: Just entered the chat
Multiple impeachments: Just entered the chat.

Which is a roundabout way to Gerrymander voting districts. It also helps the Democrats generate a large class of indentured servants heavily reliant on a central authority which suits their Authoritarian ideals.

How dishonest does someone need to be to equate the lawful and Constitutional impeachment process with violent and unlawful insurrection?

Oh and BTW, what did Manafort have to be pardoned for again?

It's funny how you make up bizarre and implausible conspiracy theories so that you can pretend in your own mind to be some kind of champion of freedom against authoritarians... when the reality is that you're just a crackpot who wants to abuse the power of govt to punish all the people whose speech hurt your feels.

Only citizens should be allowed to vote.
Agreed. Also, it should be easier to become a citizen. If someone wants to be American, let them.
citizens only allowed to vote

Something you guys won’t know since it’s not taught in the ‘RahRah USA’ version of history that virtually all of us get is the following about non-citizens and voting:

Historically, over 40 states or territories, including colonies before the Declaration of Independence, have at some time given at least some aliens voting rights in some or all elections.[11][12][13] For example, in 1875, the Supreme Court in Minor v. Happersett noted that "citizenship has not in all cases been made a condition precedent to the enjoyment of the right of suffrage. Thus, in Missouri, persons of foreign birth, who have declared their intention to become citizens of the United States, may under certain circumstances vote."[14]

By 1900, nearly half of the states and territories had some experience with voting by aliens, and for some the experience lasted more than half a century.[15]

So for most our countries history resident aliens have been allowed to vote in some instances. In fact it wasn’t until 1996 it was made explicitly illegal for resident aliens to vote in federal elections.
Quite frankly allowing non-citizens to vote matches well with our founding principles - a just government derives it power from the consent of the governed which is given by voting. Also no taxation without representation.

I remember that day well. And for those who do not like it, they should return to their respective country of origin.
