Stick with it.
I thought it was very very hard at first. But after a few hours solid at it, completing everything on novice a few times, it gets far easyier.(only completed it on novice a few times cos my memory card packed up on me!)
Its got a sleep initial learning curve, but after that, it "levels off".

yup...after u reach that level, as long as you don't mess up on little things like hitting a wall or something, then u can win every race\



2nd update for me!:

i beat ch 1-6 in at least hard mode.

i beat ch. 2, 3, 6 in very hard mode.


ch. 7 is just too frustrating wtf...i can't even beat it in normal mode..not yet at least

anyone else have tips on ch. 7?

On chapter 7 what you want to do is kill the black bull right off the bat. He will start behind you and pass you on the left side a second or so after the race starts. When he is passing you, side swipe him. He should then fall back and pass you again on the right side this time. When he passes you, swipe him again and kill him. Then you only have to deal with blood falcon for the rest of the race.

DO NOT boost at the end of the track after you pass the pit area unless you're on the last lap (then you will be bosting like mad). You will proabably fall back to around 25th, but it's ok, you can regain it by boosting a few times past the slippery ice area and on the narrow part with no rails. If you do this you WILL finish higher than if you use up all your boost at the end of the track. Watch out for blood falcon, pico, and michael chain, they like to spin attack. If there are any mines left at the final stretch on the last lap, hit them, they will give you a boost.

Good luck! I can't beat this or chapter 9 on very hard no matter how much I try. Those are the only 2 things in the whole game that I haven't beaten.

.i really suck at trying to kill other vehicles...I always end up killing myself trying to do that tactic..do you know of an easier way to kill other vehicles other than the vehicle killing (training hehe)session in. ch. 4(?)..?

i beat it on normal..now tackling hard mode....and i beat it w/o killing black bull...

i saw the video from the website you posted earlier....that dude didn't kill anyone and won the race at the last stretch...he makes it look so easy

hehe, it's a crazy snaking machine...

the boost on the car doesn't go fast, but you can boost at a rate faster than most vehicles...ideal for snake/drift/boosting combo..that's why that dude in the video can reach 4000 kph....

fastest i've ever peaked at was 2800 kph ..sigh..

that dude is using some other technique that i don't know about...
