I didn't say he was lying about going to the bank.

He stated he hadn't been out of the house since last Sunday.

I was simply pointing out that today is Presidents Day and the bank is closed.

I didn't know by what he posted he was putting cash into the ATM.

So let's review again.

He stated he was retired.

He stated I am lying about gas prices here in Indiana yet he is in South Carolina.

I have posters nearby me corroborating the gas prices I am paying here.

I also posted an article stating the same thing.

He sides with known anonymous posters that have stated for all to see they are out to get me all the time and trick the management into locking my threads on false pretenses.

He also posted how he has have made a ton of money on land sales etc, and has more money than sense and know what to do with.

And then he comes over to Off Topic to post an FYI you can put cash in an ATM.

Obviously by putting cash into an ATM on a Holiday where it won't do anything that matters until banks are open again tomorrow anyway.

I hope he enjoys his retirement, but it is clear he is already well out of touch with reality.

So what did he gain with all of this?

Very sad.

LMAO, so you're the one that made that comment? Why doesn't this surprise me.

Oh, and everyone knows you lie about gas prices. One person who validated one time your stated price (which was still less than $4) is not corroboration.

Really? Most? Which are they?
Well my personal bank doesn't :(

I use BoA, which does, but I don't have a checking account with them. Prior to this I had a checking account with penfed and even recently they didn't support it, either. They had an unbelievably awful PC app that didn't work (and relied on use of a scanner (!!!!)). I've still never in my life been able to deposit a check digitally and it pisses me off!

EDIT: ick! My bank does support these. Again, requires a scanner. Weak. And very few models of scanner anyway. You can't upload an image no matter how clean it is.

like an hour longer, lol. I've never had one of my Chase photo deposits take more than an hour before it has been accepted and available in my account. c'mon man.

Wells Fargo and boa aren't that fast. My gf said boa can have quite the delay on photo deposit so she doesn't bother.

A scanner? What year is this, 2000? Time to change banks.

But my point out of the three banks I've used recently TWO of them allow remote deposit with a scanner only--that is unless Penfed upgraded recently. I can't excuse it, it is lame as hell.

when I was shopping around for a new bank, mobile deposit support seemed to be the exception, not the rule (at least for local banks/credit unions... obv. the big national chains have more resources to throw at that kind of thing)

What's all this talk about how long it takes checks to show up in your account? Everything I deposit takes a couple of days to become available. I knew that when I started banking. I plan for it. I make certain that I am never in a position where I need something I just deposited within the hour. That's living check to check boys.

I haven't stepped foot in a bank in ~ 7 years.

In that time maybe used an ATM 10 times, never once paid an ATM fee.

Deposit with phone, funds available instantly.

USAA for the win.

I'm guessing you can't take a picture of a pile of cash and deposit it, so that won't work for everyone.

If I ever get cash, I just put it in my wallet and spend it.

If I did need to deposit cash, I would just hand it to someone and tell them to write me a check. Not surprisingly, that's never happened. But I'm not a drug dealer.

BofA's app works like crap on my phone. The photos become super stretched and never go through.

I guess it's one of those features you don't appreciate until you have it. I don't live paycheck to paycheck, but it's definitely nice dealing with a transaction as a single point in time instead of over 3 friggin days, or longer if a weekend/holiday. This is 2014 for cryin out loud.

If I want to transfer half my check to savings/Roth IRA/wife's account, I just do it right when I deposit it, and be done with it. I don't have to remember to come back 3 days later. F that noise.

Now come on, not everyone who uses cash is a drug dealer. They could also be a pimp, you know.

A rough guideline: a speaker or writer implies while a listener or reader infers. Know the difference. Please.

The correct word is likely "implying", but you could make an arguement for "inferring"

For example, perhaps what Meghan menat was that Dave had read his comment about going the bank and inferred that he was lying. It's kind of ambiguous.
