Since you hate Microsoft and their products so much, why do you keep posting in the Windows section?

While it's true that there are things I hate about Microsoft and/or some of their products, it does not mean I "hate Microsoft and their products". I use Windows as part of how I make my living; if I disliked MS products that much, I'd hate my job. I don't hate my job. I'm not sure what inspired you to post that, nor can I see any value it's added to a thread that was intended to be informative.

It was about as informative as the comment I quoted. You, in general, shit on MS and just about every piece of news posted in here.

What I miss from the package is Live/MSN messenger, I mean, skype or web based chat on facebook and a like is really just a bad replacement and does everything worse. MSN was smooth and its interface was awesome and looked good, can't say that about skype or facebook chat, or any of the messaging apps for phones.

I enjoy using the Photo Gallery and Movie maker from time to time. And I don't see that there be someone on the Internet you can't download it from for quite some time.

I thought this one was funny:

What happens to my already installed Windows Essentials 2012 applications?
Already installed applications will continue to work as they do today. There is an increased security risk associated with use of unsupported products past their end of support date"

I never have encountered a virus in my jpg's, but who knows, right?

Windows Live Mail is a slightly higher risk though :)

I've been using Movie Maker for quick downscales of videos I've taken on my phone.
