Well, at least red wine helps your heart. That's more than beer can do. Beer just helps your vision of ugly chicks. :p

It's rude, we're not 9 years old anymore, and STOP ACTING LIKE THAT. It's not even a 'cultural' thing. You leave high school talking and acting normal but being secretly gay... you arrive at your ultra-liberal college and wake up the next morning acting TOTALLY different. That tells me you do it for attention.

Thank you. I think people react excessively when the slightest thing is said in a critical way about a gay person/people. It's nice to see some reason here.

So gay people should alter their topics of conversation, or mannerisms, or whatever, so that YOU don't feel uncomfortable? Lol, right. I see no 'reason' here. I see a heterosexist, fascist dictator who would like to control other people's behaviors, speech, mannerisms.

I don't see gay people telling straight people how to behave, or speak, or live. MYOFB, a$$holes.

Maybe if gays WERENT so upfront about their gayness, this wouldn't be SUCH a big ISSUE. These gay-pride parades turn off many people who otherwise might have been sympathetic to the gay cause. And if you criticize a gay person, you are automatically declared a bigot and/or a homophobe.

I see intolerance coming from the gay side just as much as from the other side. Don't tell me about the tolerance coming from any particular group, BECAUSE there isn't. Noone is tolerant, everyone has a motive and everyone is out for their own interests. The gays want empowerment. Personally, I think gay marriage is also hurting the cause of homosexuals. Just stick to civil unions and mind your own business.

Most people don't have a problem with gays, but when they're so LOUD about their sexuality, then people feel threatened. Is there homophobia?

Of course, but compare USA to other countries around the world and you'll see that gays should be thankful they live in such a country.

Heh, go to any of the other countries besides Western Europe, America and Canada and preach about to gay rights. Lets see how far you go with that.

My point is that give it time. People aren't ready for such a radical change. Time changes attitudes. Gay rights have only been at the forefront for a decade or so.
