I don't have time to read what has transpired in this thread, so I will say that I agree with the OP and leave it at that.

From now on I am going to post the word Straight in as many posts as I can fit it into.

my only response is a great quote from a member of these forums:

If you think straight guys don't promote the fact that they're straight, you've just grown blind to it. Every turned head, every whistle, everytime you nudge your friend, every babe thread you make or post in, it's all part of you showing that you like girls. Straight guys talk about (verbally or not) girls way more than gay men talk about guys. It's just that society has grown so blind and accepting of the straight machismo that when gay men do anything of the sort, it's extremely conspicuous.

Now tell me how that has anything to do with the internet and continously reminding everyone of your sexuallity.

Because the EXACT same thing happens on this forum in response to women, sex, and general relationship advice - you just don't notice it because it is normal for you.

Oh ok I get it now. So, show me one thread where someone says the following (besides me, of course)...

You aren't as straight as I am!
It's hard finding other straight people around here...
I don't have any straight friends...
OMGHI, I am coming out of the closet, I am... STRAIGHT

Great job finding quotes from me, and taking them out of context ;) Glad to know your life is that PATHETIC that you have to resort to running a fine comb over someone else's for a reason to live.

Finding? I don't have to find, I simply clicked on the links provided by Xionide. I have better things to do than make a Gay's life any more miserable than it already is. Oh and, you havn't answered my question.

Maybe you're just not used to dealing with it, like we gals are. Heck, you all start threads about T&A and we joke right along with you. Chill out.

I don't think the OP said anything like that, just that rbloedow works his being gay into a lot of his posts. I've noticed it also, but there's so much that lends itself to ignoring, I don't mind adding one more.

And you guys work your being hetero into a lot of your posts. Heck, about 1/3 of the posters have it in their sig in the form of links to chick pics. *shrugs* I just don't see it being an outrageous characteristic of his posting any more than anybody else.

My gay boss always tells me, "Put yourself in my shoes and imagine if 99% of the world liked the same sex and you were ridiculed at every turn for liking the opposite sex, how would you feel?"

Those who accuse Rbloedow of being too explicit with his comments should remember to restrain yourself when making outlandish comments about chics, pics, vaseline, hotties, milfs, etc. Most of those comments are deragatory to women anyway.

"Do unto others as you'd have them do unto to you."

HotChic, what you don't seem to understand is Rbloedow works it into every post. Yes, there are posts about women/girls and pictures. That's where it's "appropriate". Most people don't go into random threads and express their sexuallity.

What this thread is proving. I personally have nothing against gays if that's what you're implying.

Let's not forget that the word "stab" was once a banned word. So was IDB. We had an emoticon added for "pics" so that it could be posted in every thread that so much as MENTIONS a woman.

Anything else?

I expect to see a full audit of all of his 18k+ posts... it would be interesting to see how many involve homosexuality.

Let me clear something up here. I am not homophobic (unless i'm in jail), I have nothing against gays, I do not dislike gays for being gay. What I do dislike is when people such as Rblowdoe go out of their way to constantly remind of us such. Sure I love nice pictures of women and I will make it known when they're posted, but I do not go into threads that have NOTHING to do about ANY type of sexuallity, and say, sh!t son, I'm straight. There is becoming a double standard around here, and it's getting pretty sickening.

bah.... you're full of it. I personally appreciate his openness about it. The rest of us are CERTAINLY as open about our Elisha Cuthbert sexual orientation, or YAGT after YAGT.

I think you implied it pretty strongly yourself. Otherwise you would used rbloedow's name instead of "a Gay." :|

WHERE is this massive quantity of posts involving homosexuality that rbloedow has made in threads that have nothing to do with sexuality at all?
