Yea, definitely go off contract on T-Mo and buy the phone from Google.
Through T-mo - 500mins/unlimited text/2gb data:
69.99(24)+199= 1878.76
Through Google - 500mins/unlimited text/2gb data:
49.99(24)+349= 1548.76
Difference of $330, you could buy another Nexus 4 with the savings...
T-Mo's value plans are easily the best value for a consumer when you're looking at a contract plan. $20 cheaper a month just because they don't subsidize the phone for you. It's what I'm currently on with a family plan and it's 93 a month and that's with me paying 15 a month for the phone I bought for my mom. They do payment plans on phones instead of subsidies for their value plans.
Agreed, the T-Mobile price is not attractive. Here is some
updated pricing info: T-Mobile charges $200 up front with 20 payments of $15 for a total of $500 (equivalent to their retail price, and $150 more than buying directly from Google).
